Always see a pile of picture frames at the thrift store? or maybe at a yard sale? Well here is a very easy project to do with them!
Just remove the cardboard insert and paint it :)
I rubbed a little water downed brown acrylic paint with a rag on the cardboard for a staining effect, a little bit goes a long way. Then just painted on a liberty bell with some stars, I've made several different kinds. Oh yeah, and I used my favorite crafting tool, A sharpie Marker :P to write the word and lightly feather around the bell & stars. I'm telling ya, a Sharpie Marker can become addicting (rofl)
You can do anything with paint and your imagination to create something to fit in to your decor.
And you can paint both sides to change it for the seasons :)
