Last year I started to get into painting gourds. These were a few of my very first ones created. They had sat for about a year or 2 before I painted them, they were nice and dried out on the inside, the seeds clanked around like maraca's.
I sanded them a little to help the paint adhere better and added a poly spray. I had a huge one shaped just like a pear but one side was crushed so I had thrown it out, I wish I would have kept it now that I think of it. I could have removed the crushed area and turned it into a neat easter basket display :/
